We have made significant progress in the past year and we’ve increased our number of food pickups significantly. When we started our markets in August of 2024, we were picking up twice a week to serve just over 40 visitors. We continued to pursue more opportunities to pick up food. With more food to offer, the number of families we served grew. By the end of January of 2025, we were serving over 800 families per month and distributing over 20,000 pounds of food and household necessities every month.

Our growth also comes from the time dedication of our volunteers, who help in a variety of capacities, from picking up food from stores, sorting food, gleaning food to provide the best quality food, as well as setting up markets and providing market customer service. Our volunteers dedicate over 400 hours each month to provide the best markets in food rescue and redistribution. See our Markets Page to see what we offer.
